Wise Words: Muhammed Ali Jinnah

”Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Muhammad Ali Jinnah did all three” (an exert from his autobiography from historian Stanley Wolpert).

This week saw the remembrance of this great man and on musk&moccasin we take a look back at some of his wisest of words which shaped and spearheaded a campaign which saw the birth of what is today Bangladesh and Pakistan.

”Failure is a word unknown to me”

”No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you.”

”There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both; that of the women”

”Think 100 times before you take a decision, But once that decision is taken, stand by it as one man”

”With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.”

Peace Out..
