Put This On visits Savile Row

The third episode of Put This On touches down in the heart of London’s legendary Savile Row, taking you through the tailoring industry, dating as far back as the late 16th Century. The short street is termed the “golden mile of tailoring”, where country fashion and military garments to ready-to-wear clothes are produced by a craft of experienced tailors. Most notably is Ede & Ravenscroft who are the oldest tailors in London, established since 1689.

The short documentary shall take you through the city’s roots to men’s fashion, highlighted by the ‘Row’s’ two proprietor’s that is Richard Anderson of Huntsman, Patrick Grant of Norton & Sons and longterm historian Peter Berthoud.
